Balanced Body Balanced Body is a system of human movement, strengthening and balance developed by Shannon to address inequities in the body that may cause pain and limitations of movement. Through targeted strengthening, release and awareness exercises, the student learns to integrate the muscles of the body to bring balance, range of motion and the release of pain. This class is perfect for every BODY!
Fundamentals of Yoga A class for those new to yoga and for those wishing to gain a solid foundation in hatha yoga technique.
Vinyasa Yoga Uses the principles of vinyasa to create an elegant fusion of movement and stillness centered on the breath. Sun salutations, standing and seated poses, inversions, and breathwork.
Power Hour A short, sweet, intense version of our Flow class.
Kali Flow - All levels Vinyasa For the student who listens to their body, takes care of it and would like to explore their edges! In this powerful fiery class we will explore arm balances, inversions, deep back bends, and utilization of the bandhas.
Gentle flow The Gentle Flow Yoga class is designed to reawaken the body-mind connection. Each class begins with methodical stretching and bending, leading up to an easy flow through gentle yoga poses. Working on a mat, at the wall, or on a chair if needed, students become mindful of the connection between breath and movement, while building strength, improving balance, and increasing suppleness in muscles and joints. Improved posture and body alignment are added benefits of the class. Laughter is highly encouraged!
Alexander Technique By tuning into the intelligence of our body, we're able to include that felt sense into our decisions, along with what our minds think. The Alexander Technique allows you to explore an improved way of using your whole self through this coordination of mind and body as one. When your whole self is in balance you can enjoy benefits such as easier and more efficient movement full, natural breathing, reduced pain and stress, and clarity to make new choices.
Bliss Come relax, renew and aaaaaaahhhhhhhh in this yummy class with deep release, stillness and aromatherapy! You will end your weekend right and start your week renewed. No yoga experience needed - just the desire to feel completely relaxed.
Yogabundance We'll explore the grounded yet uplifting qualities of West African dance and experience heart-opening Yoga asanas that also ground and uplift us. This energetic, fun, class is accompanied by live drums. No dance experience needed.
